Location. The Birchwood Executive Hotel & Conference Centre is a modern complex of low rise buildings set amid 30 acres of landscaped gardens and situated five kilometres from Johannesburg International Airport. The airport can be reached by car in approximately seven minutes.
Hotel Features. This modern spa and conference hotel offers 23 fully equipped meeting rooms and extensive leisure facilities, including a gymnasium complete with a sauna and steam room. A range of massage treatments and beauty therapies are also available. The air conditioned public areas are equipped with wireless Internet access (surcharge), and complimentary newspapers are provided in the lobby. The hotel also incorporates a chapel licensed for weddings. Other onsite amenities include a gift shop, hair salon, laundry facilities and a business centre.
Dining options at the Birchwood Executive Hotel include a relaxed, 24 hour a la carte restaurant serving light dishes from around the world, and a family friendly restaurant complete with a children's playground. The Hi Flyerz Aviation Theme Bar features an aeroplane viewing deck and the original cockpit of a 747, complete with speakers relaying communication between pilots and air traffic control.

Getting there. A shuttle service provided by the hotel runs hourly from the airport. The best way to get around is by minibus taxi or car.
Driving directions: From the airport, take the R21 towards Boksburg. At the first traffic lights turn left into North Rand Road. Continue for 200 metres, and the Birchwood Executive Hotel & Conference Centre is on the left hand side.
