Location. The Marriott Newport Beach Hotel claims a spectacular view of Newport Harbor, a private golf course and the Pacific Ocean from its perch two miles above the beach. Conveniently situated, this impressive hotel lies across the street from Fashion Island shopping venues and one half mile from Orange County Museum of Art. The property also provides complimentary transportation to and from John Wayne Orange County Airport, which is located six and one half miles away.
Hotel Features. This stylish, two tower hotel offers the use of eight on site tennis courts (surcharge), along with two outdoor pools one freeform with an adjacent bar and another that's tucked away in a secluded alcove. The hotel's Pure Blu spa is a soothing sanctuary that highlights treatments such as Signature Hot Sea Shell Massages, Extreme Sports Massage, Gentleman's Facial, and hydrotherapy with Vichy showers. For the traveling professional, the hotel boasts a business center and 25,000 square feet of meeting space. High speed wired and wireless Internet acces is available. For dining, Sam and Harry's serves USDA prime aged steaks, along with fresh seafood flown in daily. The Lounge at Sam and Harry's is known for its sushi, seafood and cocktails. Starbucks Marketplace is located on the premises.
Guestroom Features. The newly renovated Newport Beach Marriott Hotel and Spa has 578 guestrooms that reflect bold color schemes, and include patios or balconies. Beds are topped with down pillows, duvets and 300 thread count cotton sheets. Bathrooms feature glass encased showers and granite countertops. Rooms include plasma televisions, high speed Internet access and multi line telephones. Refrigerators and microwave ovens are available upon request.
Expert Tip. Straight down Jamboree Road is the seaport village of Balboa Island, where homes are set like gems on streets with names such as Opal, Topaz, and Ruby avenues. A public walkway along the bay leads to a small ferris wheel and ferry.
